Troubleshooting Steps
When the device does not emit the aimer even if you press the scan button, check the following steps.
Cause | Solution | |
---|---|---|
1 | Disabled aimer | Turn on aimer Navigate to ScanSettings > Options, and check if the Enable aimer switch is turned on. |
2 | Abnormal ScanSettings | Reset Scanner Settings Navigate to ScanSettings > About, and perform Factory reset. After reset, check if the aimer is emitted properly. |
3 | Issue with scanner module | Contact local reseller If the above steps cannot solve the problem, it may be an issue with the scanner module. Request a module replacement to Point Mobile. |
