Troubleshooting Steps

1The fingerprint did not registered properly

Re-register the fingerprint

Fingerprint may not work if you registered the fingerprint incorrectly.

In this case, delete the current fingerprint and re-register it.

  1. Unlock the device using backup screen lock method (Pattern, PIN, or Password).
  2. Navigate to Settings Security Fingerprint.
  3. Delete the fingerprint by tapping the trash icon


  4. Add a new fingerprint by tapping add fingerprint.
