Point Mobile devices with Android 7.0 and above accommodate multiple barcode scanning solution which allows you to eliminate the time-intensive process of scanning each one individually.
You can scan multiple barcodes with one triggering. This multiple barcode scanning solution is called 'MultiScan'
APPLIES TO
Devices with Android 7.0 and above - PM85, PM90, PM550
and Devices with normal range barcode scanner module
How to enable MultiScan
- Navigate to EmKit(or Settings app) > ScanSetting > Basic
- Toggle Enable multiple barcodes at once scan to enable MultiScan
- Set Number of barcodes to scan
- Scan the barcodes
In order to do a demonstration for MultiScan(after enabling MultiScan)
- Navigate to EmKit > MultiScanDemo
- Set number of barcodes to scan
- Scan the barcodes
Note
- If the number you set is larger than the barcodes that you are going to scan, the scanner can not read the barcodes. Please set the number correctly or smaller than the number of barcodes.
- The scan results are not inputted in order.
