This page explains how to check the original Android version when the device is manufactured using part number.

For uncertified devices, the PULS program activate when they try to upgrade to Android 9 (PM45, PM85) / Android 11 (PM451, PM90, PM30).

To pass this program, customers / partners must register their S/N to Point Mobile certification database.

Describe the Steps

Go to EmKit > System Information > Manufacturer Information

or find P/N on the DevInfo file 

Check 11th letter of the part number

Ex) PM85G6Q04BDE0C

Compare it with the below table which Android Version was installed by manufacturer.

FAndroid v9.0 GMS (no need to register)

Android versions other than Android 9 GMS must purchase the certification to upgrade to Android 9 and pass the PULS program.
