Direct Clone is an automated solution for backing up and synchronizing any files and mobile applications.

It is designed to eliminate inconvenience and delay of duty which result from the fact that workers need to manually configure the system settings one by one.


We recommend Direct Clone for small business customers do not use MDM, or difficult to connect Wi-Fi.

Operation

Direct Clone clones settings and data from one master device to other nearby devices (client devices) remotely.

Master device becomes a server itself, and the client devices will receive the backup files from master.


Just setup one device as a master device, and launch Direct Clone. That's it!

No need to connect Wi-Fi or scan provisioning barcode!


Same PN & Same OS

The master device and client device must be under the same OS version and partially same part number.

  • Part number letters that must be same: 1st to 8th, 11th

Point Mobile does not guarantee the proper operation between two devices different part number and OS versions.

How to Use Direct Clone?

Master Device

Client Devices

1. Set up the device configurations and application settings.

2. Launch Direct Clone from EmKit.


3. Check what you want to backup and Tap BACKUP to make a backup file


4. You can set a password that is used when the server executes


5. Tap SYNC tab or Swipe the screen to move tab.

And select the backup file what you want to send to the client devices

1. Launch Direct Clone

  • In Setup Wizard: Press and hold the Power button
    until the power menu dialog shows up. And then, tap Direct Clone.

    If the system is locked with FRP (Factory Reset Protection), provisioning cannot be performed.

  • Otherwise, navigate to EmKit > Direct Clone.

              or

6. Tap Direct Clone icon( ) to execute the server.
If you set the password to backup file, you should enter the password before running it.
Now, the server is ready to connect.

2. Tap START DIRECT CLONE SERVICE to prepare to receive the backup file.

(If you open the Direct Clone via Power menu dialog, this step run automatically).

                 

Up to 8 client devices can receive the backup file from master device at once.

Once each of the connection is over, the other client devices ready to receive
will be connected to master device automatically.
