Unable to read or write NFC tags

APPLIES TO

All Point Mobile devices with NFC feature

RESOLUTION

If your device can't read or write NFC tags, your device may not support the NFC feature or you didn't use NFC feature properly.

Please check the items below.

1. Check the part number of your device, and check if your device supports NFC feature.
2. Click below button to access NFC tools website and refer to the listed items
   NFC Tools - Support

#1. Check that NFC is turned on

Settings > Connected devices > (Connection preferences in Android 9 >) NFC

 

#2. Check your NFC antenna's location

Find the NFC antenna location, and check if some impediments are attached on the location or you bring the NFC tag to the wrong location

#3. Check that the NFC technology of the tag is compatible with your device
