About PULS program..
For uncertified Android 8 devices, the PULS program activate when they try to upgrade to Android 9.
To pass this program, customers / partners must register their S/N to Point Mobile certification database.
APPLIES TO

- PM85 Android 8 → Android 9
- PM45 Android 8 → Android 9: 45.74 (Sep 29 2021) and higher
Describe the Steps
Go to EmKit 
> System Information > Manufacturer Information
or find P/N on the DevInfo file DevInfo : How to Get Device Information File
Check 11th letter of the part number
Ex) PM85G6Q04BDE0C
Compare it with the below table which Android Version was installed by manufacturer.

|---|---|
| D | Android v8.0 GMS |
| E | Android v8.0 AOSP |
| F | Android v9.0 GMS (no need to register) |
| G | Android v9.0 AOSP |
Note
Android versions other than Android 9 GMS must purchase the certification to upgrade to Android 9 and pass the PULS program.
