PM550 and PM85 provide various types of charging cradles (sold separately).
When charging the device with the cradle, you can confirm the charging status by the charging animation displayed on the screen, in addition to the LED indicator that you can usually see when charging via USB cable.
You can recognize the battery level at a glance by the two types of charging status indications!

Charging Indication
When the cradle charging is started, you can confirm the charging state with the following.

Cradle Charging Animation
Charging animation is displayed only when using cradle for charging the device.
Depending on the battery remaining level, the animation will be changed.
The animation segments the battery level into five sections (six sections including fully charged state) and shows it with colors and filled height for easy recognition.

Charge Warning Animation
The Charge Warning Animation is available on following device

- PM84P
The charge warning animation provdies warning animations for various battery conditions.
A charge warning animation is displayed when an issue is detected with the battery during charging.
The End-of-Life (EOL) and Near End-of-Life statuses are determined based on the Battery Age.
The warning animation is displayed according to the priority of the detected status:
- EOL (End-of-Life) *(Highest Priority)
- Critical Errors
- Battery temperature error
- Time out error - Near EOL (Near End-of-Life) *(Lowest Priority)
If multiple warnings occur simultaneously, the highest priority status is shown in the animation, while all other issues are displayed below with a warning message.

1. EOL (End-of-Life)
When the battery age reaches "Bad", the animation will will change to EOL status, indicating that the battery has reached the end of its usable life and must be replaced immediately.

When critical issues are detected during charging, the animation changes accordingly.

The battery temperature exceeds the safe operating range during charging.

Charging did not complete within an expected time(within 8 hours), indicating a potential battery or charging issue.

3. Near EOL (End-of-Life)
When the battery age "Warning", a appears in the animation, indicating that the battery is approaching the end of its usable life. The color of the charging status will follow the normal charging animation.

Exit Charging Animation Screen
To use the device while it is installed on a cradle, you need to exit the charging animation screen.
The way to exit the animation screen is easy. Just tap the icon.
(To avoid accidental closing, tapping other spaces will not respond.)
And if you want to see the charging animation screen again, detach the device from the cradle and re-attach it.
Disable Charging Animation
You can disable the animation screen if you want. Refer to Enable / Disable Cradle Charging Animation if you want to disable the screen.
