Scanner and trigger can be turned on / off separately, but the icon indicating scanner status is only one.
So you may confuse because the scanner doesn't work when the scanner is on but the trigger is off.
We added an icon for verifying this situation.

When the trigger is disabled?
The trigger will be disabled...
- In suspend mode
- In lock screen
- When the intent for disabling the trigger is used
The trigger will be enabled again when...
- Scanner feature is turned off and then, turned on
- Rebooting the device
- Factory reset the scanner
- When the intent for enabling the trigger is used
How to indicate trigger status?
The icon will be changed as below.
