This article describes the process of using Scan2Stage.

You can follow the steps for staging the devices. If you want to know the step detail, please click the button linked with the articles about the topic.


APPLIES TO

Scan2Stage v.10.0.3 and above


1. Start to create or Load JSON Script File






  1. New
  • Create new Json Script File

2. Load JSON file

  • Load existing Json Script file

3. Save/Save as

  • Save the edited configuration as JSON Script file

4. Load devinfo.html

  • Load device information in advance using devinfo.html file

2. Set the Script

1.Schedule

  • Set the schedule for when the JSON file will be applied to your device.

2. GMSPackageManager

  • Enable/Disable all or some of GMS Package application
  • Allow app whether it can be downloaded from Google Play

3. OS Update

  • Set OS update action values

4. Device Setting

  • Set the device configuration & setting values
  • Choose whether to install(update) EmKitAgent or not and where do you download it

→ In order to apply the device & Scanner settings, you must install EmKitAgent

5. Scanner Setting

  • Set the scanner setting values

→ In order to apply the device & Scanner settings, you must install EmKitAgent

6. EmSolution

  • Choose whether to install(update) EmKiosk or not and where do you download it
  • Set EmKiosk setting values

Setup EmKiosk using Scan2Stage


3. Save as JSON File

  • Tap File > Save/Save As to save the script values


4. Generate QRCode

  • Tap QRcode generator > Scan2Stage QRcode in Scan2Stage console
  • Input the network information in Network Setup


  • Input URLs of EmInstaller APK, Configuration File and Target JSON file



EmInstaller APK

  • Input the EmInstaller apk file URL

Configuration File

  • Zip the apk and app data files that you install and Upload it to file server
  • EmInstaller will download this zip file to the Download folder of the device and then unzip it.

Target JSON filename

  • Upload the JSON Script file to file server and input the URL

Screen timeout

  • if check, the device will turn on the screen during the provisioning process



5. Scan the QRCode

  • Press and hold Power button until the power menu show up
  • Select Scan2Set and Scan the QRcode

Scanner will be enabled automatically when you execute the Scan2Set
