ISSUE

Device does not turn on by pressing the power button. 



RESOLUTION

First, try holding down POWER button for 12 seconds. This usually restarts the device. Despite trying this, the device still does not turn on, please follow these steps below.


  1. To check if the battery is fully discharged, connect device to AC/DC power source or cradle. If Charge LED indicator flash red or green, it's an indication that the power source is properly applied and device is in charge mode. Charge the battery some while, try to turn on the device by pressing POWER button.

    NOTES

    Use an original charger from the Point Mobile. Other chargers may damage the device. Also, make sure the charger is not wet.

  2. If Charge LED indicator does not flash at all, remove the battery and press RESET button to clear all flash memory. After pressing RESET button, plug power source and check device cloud boot up.

  3. Then, insert the battery and go to Settings > Battery to check battery status.
