ISSUE

  • Cannot connect Bluetooth devices

RESOLUTION

Solution 1. Turn off and on Bluetooth


Turn off the Bluetooth and turn on again.

You can switch the Bluetooth in Quick Setting Panel or Settings > Connected devices.


Solution 2. Forget the Bluetooth device


Forget the Bluetooth device from the Settings > Connected devices.

Tap the gear icon from the paired devices list, and tap FORGET.

And try to connect the device again.


Solution 3. Clear Bluetooth app data


If the Bluetooth app has a problem. Clear the Bluetooth app data and try to connect the device again.

  1. Go to Settings > Apps & notifications.


  2. Tap See all xx apps.


  3. Tap the More Options (three dots) on the upper-right side of the screen, and select Show system.


  4. Find the Bluetooth app and select. Then, tap Storage.


  5. Tap CLEAR STORAGE to clear the data.


Solution 4. Reset Network settings


The Bluetooth settings may have a problem. Reset the network settings and try to connect the device again.

Network settings reset erases: 

  • Wi-Fi network names and passwords
  • Bluetooth device connections and preferences
  • VPN settings, etc.
  • Mobile network preferences, etc.

Please backup the important data before performing the reset.

To reset the network settings,

  1. Go to Settings System.

  2. Expand Advanced and select Reset options.


  3. Tap Reset Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (or Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth).


  4. Tap RESET SETTINGS and confirm.
