Point Mobile provide new OS version to improve performance in device.

If your device connect to Wi-Fi network, you can use FOTA(Firmware Over The Air) server for updating OS.


BEFORE START

1. Charge battery higher than 20%. Otherwise device will not start OS update process.

2. Default setting of FOTA client is "Download over Wi-Fi only". Please connect to Wi-Fi network.

3. During reboot process, you cannot use device. Please save the data before start process.

Follow the steps below to update the OS

  1. Open the Settings application

  2. Go to System > About phone > System updates

  3. Swipe screen or tap FOTA tab

  4. Device will compare device's OS version between FOTA server's one. If there is newer OS version in the FOTA server, device display newer OS Image with DOWNLOAD button

  5. Tap DOWNLOAD button to download OS Image file from FOTA server

  6. After finishing download, a dialog which title is Notice will show up. Tap OK to reboot system
