ISSUE
Scanner is not available with an aimer
APPLIES TO
Android powered Point Mobile devices with scanner
RESOLUTION
When the device does not emit the aimer even if you press the scan button, check the following steps.
If each step does not solve the problem, move on to the next step.
1. Navigate to ScanSettings > Options, and check if the Enable aimer switch is turned on.
2. Navigate to ScanSettings > About, and perform Factory reset. After reset, check if the aimer is emitted properly.
3. If the 1 and 2 steps cannot solve the problem, it may be an issue with the scanner module.
Request a module replacement to Point Mobile.
