1The fingerprint did not registered properly
Solution:

Re-register the fingerprint

Fingerprint may not work if you registered the fingerprint incorrectly.

In this case, delete the current fingerprint and re-register it.

  1. Unlock the device using backup screen lock method (Pattern, PIN, or Password).
  2. Navigate to Settings > Security > Fingerprint.
  3. Delete the fingerprint by tapping the trash icon Image Modified
    Image Modified

  4. Add a new fingerprint by tapping add fingerprint.
