Point Mobile provide up-to-date OS version to improve the performance on your device.
You can use not only internal storage but also external storage like microSD Card for OS update.
Download OS image file (PFU file) from Service Portal, and start update!
Cannot Log-in Service Portal?
Please contact your distributor or Point Mobile Sales team if you want to download OS file (PFU file).
Update the OS via Storage
Download OS image file into the storage you prepared.
The file must be placed in root folder of the storage
Refer to Data Transfer with PC (MTP Connection) if you don't know how to connect the device with PC and send the file.
Navigate to Settings > System > (About phone) > System updates
The device will check storage and display available OS version with UPDATE button
When you tap the UPDATE button, a dialog which title is Notice will show up. Tap OK to start OS update.
1. Charge the battery higher than 20%. Otherwise, your device will not start OS update process.
2. During the update process, you cannot use the device. Please save the data before start.
After complete update, the device will reboot automatically
