Troubleshooting Steps

1Incorrect connect mode

Change the connect mode

The default connect mode of RFID readers is Wired mode. Make sure the RFID reader is in correct mode that you want.

  • Bluetooth Mode: Connect-Mode LED (No. 2 in the figure) lights red.
  • Wired Mode: Connect-Mode LED turned off

To change the connect mode, press the connect mode change button (C).

Problems with previous connection

(Bluetooth connection only)

Forget the previous connection

If the reader and the host device have ever been connected, delete the reader from the paired list and try again.

  1. Go to Bluetooth settings.
  2. Select the reader name from the paired device list.
  3. Tap FORGET or Unpair.

Not properly assembled

(Wired connection only)

Reassemble the reader

Make sure you assemble the RFID reader and the host device properly.
