RedDecoding Success,
but Bluetooth is not connected

Connect the PM5 with a host device

This indicates the scanner succeeds in reading the barcode but is connected nowhere with Bluetooth.
Check the connection between the host device.

If the scanner is not connected, connect it by Tap-to-Pair or Scan-to-Pair, or Settings.

Bluetooth Disconnection
Find the case that the scanner is disconnected in the following and prevent the disconnection.

  • Out of range

The connection may be lost if the host device and PM5 are about 10m or more apart.
(The Bluetooth range depends on the working environment and Bluetooth power class, etc.)

  • Host device turned off or PM5 rebooted

If the host device is turned off or PM5 reboots accidentally (Battery discharges, etc.), the device and scanner will be disconnected.

  • Bluetooth turned off from host device

Turning off the Bluetooth feature will disconnect the connection between the host device and scanner.
