Troubleshooting Steps

| 1 | USB Disk Mode | Change USB Setting to USB Serial Mode When using Time & Count format (Admin menu > Configuration > UI Settings > DisplayFormat), the time, barcode data, and total count of the scanning are displayed on the screen every time you scan a barcode. But in USB Disk Mode, the PM3 saves the scanned barcode data as a text file. Therefore, PM3 cannot count the number of scanned data. If you want to see the total count, you must use USB Serial mode instead. To change to USB Serial mode, go to Admin Menu > Configuration > USB Settings > USB Mode.
