Troubleshooting Steps


CauseSolution
1Signal sensitivity issue

Bring Bluetooth device closer

Place the Bluetooth device and the Point Mobile device close within 10m of each other and reconnect.

2Interference by nearby wireless devices

Connect where no wireless devices nearby

Check if there are many wireless devices nearby. If so, move to another place and try to reconnect.

3Temporary Bluetooth issue

Turn off and on the Bluetooth

You can turn on and off the Bluetooth easily in the Quick setting panel.

  1. Swipe down the screen.
  2. Turn off the Bluetooth icon  from the Quick setting panel.
    Green icon means the feature is turned on.
  3. Turn it on again.
4Connection issue with the Bluetooth device

Forget the Bluetooth devices and reconnect

The previous connection between the device and the Bluetooth device may affect the next connection. To forget the Bluetooth device,

  1. Go to Settings > Connected devices.
  2. Tap  icon next to the Bluetooth device name from PREVIOUSLY CONNECTED DEVICES list.


  3. Tap FORGET.
  4. Tap FORGET DEVICE in the dialog.
5Bluetooth app data issue

Clear Bluetooth app data

  1. Go to Settings Apps & notifications.
  2. Tap SEE ALL n APPS or tap App info.


  3. Tap  and select Show system.


  4. Select Bluetooth among the app list.
  5. Tap Storage & cache.
  6. Tap CLEAR STORAGE.
6Network issue

Reset Network Settings

  1. Go to Settings > System.
  2. Tap Advanced to expand more settings.
  3. Tap Reset options.
  4. Select Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth.
  5. Tap RESET SETTINGS, and tap the button again.
7Repair or analysis required
